SINGAPORE

A bridge between the East and the West for centuries, Singapore continues to embrace tradition and modernity. Unique is the word that best describes Singapore, a dynamic city rich in contrast and color; a city where you'll find a harmonious blend of culture, cuisine, arts and architecture. Brimming with unbridled energy and bursting with exciting events, the city offers countless memorable experiences waiting to be discovered. Loh Lik Peng, a Singapore native and the owner of Chinatown’s New Majestic Hotel and Little India’s Wanderlust, invites you to be inspired by the sights, sounds, tastes and smells of 21st-century Singapore.

    SINGAPORE BOTANIC GARDENS

The Singapore Botanic Gardens are a dynamic and living monument to the foresight of the founding fathers of Singapore. Sir Stamford Raffles, the founder of Singapore and a keen naturalist, established the first botanical and experimental garden on Government Hill (Fort Canning Hill) in 1822, shortly after his arrival in Singapore. 1 Cluny Road Singapore

  • DINING

    WILD ROCKET

Wild Rocket started in 2005 and Chef Willin Low's philosophy has remained unchanged: to provide good food with good service and good ambience. He described the food he served as “Mod Sin” (or modern Singaporean) since most of the dishes are inspired by Singaporean flavors, hawker dishes or food he grew up with as a child. 10A Upper Wilkie Road, Singapore

    TAB

TAB is a mid-sized, live music venue where good food and drinks play an important part in the entire concert experience. The first of its kind in Singapore and possibly South East Asia, TAB is split over three levels of the old Orchard Hotel Galleria space and showcases the talents of local and foreign artists alike. The venue seats 250 comfortably and has a maximum capacity of 600 standing. The feel of the space echoes legendary venues in New York and London – think The Bowery Ballroom meets Ronnie Scott’s. 442 Orchard Road, #02-29
